Velvetro specializes in handcrafted luxury furniture made with premium materials including velvet upholstery, solid hardwoods, marble, and metallic accents. Our products are available through our online store and select showrooms worldwide.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 Minimum Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

2.2 Account Creation

To access certain features, you may need to register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept all risks of unauthorized access
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

2.3 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Velvetro reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

3. Product Information and Orders

3.1 Product Descriptions

We strive for accuracy in product descriptions, colors, dimensions, and materials. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display will accurately reflect actual colors. Natural materials like wood, marble, and leather will have natural variations that we consider part of their beauty.

3.2 Custom Orders

Many Velvetro pieces are customizable. Please note:

• Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit
• Lead times vary from 6-12 weeks
• Final products may differ slightly from digital renderings
• Changes after production begins may incur additional fees

3.3 Order Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for any reason, including:

• Product unavailability
• Errors in pricing or description
• Suspected fraudulent activity
• Restrictions in your region

3.4 Pricing and Payment

All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and select financing options. You agree to pay all charges incurred by your account, including applicable taxes.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Delivery Areas

We currently ship to the contiguous United States, Canada, European Union countries, UAE, and select Asian markets. Additional fees apply for international shipments.

4.2 Delivery Times

Standard production lead times:

• Ready-to-ship items: 2-3 weeks
• Made-to-order standard designs: 6-8 weeks
• Custom designs: 8-12 weeks

These are estimates only and may vary due to material availability, customization complexity, or unforeseen circumstances.

4.3 White Glove Delivery

Our premium delivery service includes:

• In-home delivery
• Assembly (if required)
• Placement in one room
• Packaging removal

Additional services available for an extra fee.

4.4 Delivery Issues

You must inspect all items upon delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Claims for visible damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

5. Returns and Refunds

5.1 Standard Collection Items

Non-custom, in-stock items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to:

• 20% restocking fee
• Original condition requirement
• Customer-paid return shipping
• Original packaging

5.2 Custom and Made-to-Order Items

Customized products cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective. Our artisans craft each piece to your specifications, making returns impractical.

5.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

5.4 Warranty Claims

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for:

• 5 years on structural components
• 2 years on upholstery and finishes

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, and improper maintenance are excluded.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

All content on our Services, including designs, text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or our licensors' and protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, revocable license to access and use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works
• Use our designs for commercial purposes
• Reverse engineer any aspect of our Services
• Remove any proprietary notices

6.3 User Content

By submitting reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us a perpetual license to use that content for marketing and promotional purposes.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or defraud others
• Upload viruses or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our Services
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Our furniture is designed for residential use unless otherwise specified. Commercial use may void warranties.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of our Services. We may perform maintenance or updates at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velvetro shall not be liable for:

• Damages exceeding the product's purchase price

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Velvetro and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by Italian law without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.2 Arbitration

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Milan, Italy, in accordance with the rules of the Milan Chamber of Arbitration.

10.3 Class Action Waiver

All claims must be brought individually, not as part of any class or representative proceeding.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Velvetro regarding the Services.
